Admission Methods

Direct Admission

    Summary:

  • Candidates must hold a high-school (Grade 12) diploma or its equivalent certificate. The candidates in the graduating year can submit a supporting document from their high schools to confirm that the candidates will graduate before the start date of the undergraduate program.
  • Candidates are required to take a written examination and interview according to the admission criteria of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology. The final judgment will be in decision of the Administrative Program Committee of Faculty of Information and Communication Technology.

International Admission

    Summary:

  • This admission method is recommended for international students.
  • Candidates must hold a high-school (Grade 12) diploma or its equivalent certificate. The candidates in the graduating year can submit a supporting document from their high schools to confirm that the candidates will graduate before the start date of the undergraduate program.
  • Candidates are required to submit their transcripts and English Proficiency Test scores: (use one of the followings)
    • TOEFL score of at least 500,
    • TOEFL computer-based score of 173,
    • TOEFL Internet-based score of 70, or
    • IELTS score of 5.0
  • Standardized test scores must be taken within 2 years prior to the admission deadline date.
  • Candidates are required to interview according to the admission criteria of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology. The final judgment will be in decision of the Administrative Program Committee of Faculty of Information and Communication Technology.

Central Admission (Please follow the National Central Admission schedules)

    Summary:

  • Candidates must hold a high-school (Grade 12) diploma or its equivalent certificate.
  • Candidates are required to follow the procedure and submit test scores of O-NET, GAT and PAT which is arranged by the Commission on Higher Education (CHE).
  • In order to apply, please visit the website of the Commission on Higher Education (CHE).
  • The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology will select the candidates for interviewing according to the admission criteria of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology. The final judgment will be in decision of the Administrative Program Committee of Faculty of Information and Communication Technology.

Tuition Fee

The combined total of the university fee, tuition fee, and the educational support Fee are approximately 55,000 Baht per semester or 440,000 Baht in total for the period of 4 years of study for Thai students who apply via Direct Admission and Central Admission method. The tuition fee for international students who apply via International Admission method is approximately 105,000 Baht per semester or 840,000 Baht in total for the period of 4 years of study.

Scholarships

The Faculty of ICT offers scholarships to outstanding students at all levels. Scholarships cover the cost of tuition fee and university fee. The allocation of the scholarships is approximately 10 percents of admitted students each academic year. There are two types of scholarships provided by the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology:

1. Full Scholarship :

Full Scholarship is awarded to candidates who perform exceptionally well in the direct admission examination or have been selected under the discretion of the admission committee of the Faculty of ICT. Scholarship awards approximately 400,000 Baht for the program, and the awarded students do not have to compensate the Faculty of ICT back after completing the degree requirements of the program.

Admitted students can also receive this scholarship if they perform well during their study in the program. Students who receive their GPA above 3.8 in each academic year can apply to receive the full scholarship from the Faculty of ICT.

2. Partial Scholarship :

Partial Scholarship is awarded to a student who performs well in the direct admission exam of the Faculty of ICT or has been selected under the discretion of the admission committee of the Faculty of ICT. Scholarship awards approximately 150,000 Baht for the entire program or 18,750 baht per semester.
