The Faculty of ICT together with the Faculty of Medicine, Mahidol University joined the conference in order to seek for cooperation regarding possibilities to develop “Siriraj Expert System”, the system that integrates educational information and research studies into cooperation.
The conference which was held at IT404 conference room, the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University on 29 October 2019, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarernsri L. Mitrpanont, a Senior Advisor of ICT Mahidol and Prof. Manee Rattanachaiyanont, Deputy Dean for Academic Administration of the Faculty of Medicine, Mahidol University. There were other involved staff from both the Faculty of ICT and the Faculty of Medicine also participated in the meeting.
Additionally, a presentation of “Mednacea application” was conducted, as they would like to take it as a prototype for developing the “Siriraj Expert System”. The Mednacea application is an awarded project from the National Research Council of Thailand in 2017 (https://www.ict.mahidol.ac.th/en/?p=4296), which gathers research studies and R2R (Routine to Research) regarding medicine and health care during 2014-2016. It was developed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarernsri L. Mitrpanont, a Senior Advisor of ICT Mahidol and 3 students from ICT Mahidol, partnered with the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.
