On 19 February 2020 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology
(ICT Mahidol) held “the 2020 11th ICT Senior Project Annual Poster Exhibition and Conference” (ICT SP-APEC2020) for academic year 2020, at the Grand Auditorium, ICT building, Salaya campus.
The ceremony was honored to have Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Deputy Dean for Academic Administration and Acting Deputy Dean for Organizational Communication and Engagement, preside over the ceremony.

ICT SP-APEC2020 was a mini-poster showcase event for the senior students to present the theoretical and reasons of their senior projects to the assessment committees, advisors, and junior students. The purpose of the showcase was to help the senior year students use the comments from the committee members and advisors to improve their projects. It also aimed to inspire the younger students to apply all the theories to practical works.

Moreover, during the event, the Faculty offered support grants certificates to students whose works are outstanding and are related to arts and culture preservation.

5,000 Baht support grants and certificates:

  • “Virtual Alto Xylophone Trainer” by Mr. Atthakul Chanthong, Mr. Witchapon Intarapan, and Mr. Thanut Promsuk, under supervision of Dr. Mores Prachyabrued.
  • “Digital tour guide for Mahasawat community” by Mr. Thanakorn Boonlarp, Mr. Poramat Jaratdamrong, and Mr. Pisit Pukpruengkop under supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sudsanguan Ngamsuriyaroj.

Certificates:

  • “ARdastral” Miss Rawisara Aunsinmun, Mr. Peerapong Nitithum, and Miss Sirilak Sirinam, under supervision of Snit Sanghlao.
  • “KideClass: 21st Century Classroom through Culture – Tourism – base AR Game by
    Kiettikoon Amornrat, Miss Ann Arayapipatkul, and Miss Natnicha Onwong, under supervision of Dr. Pawitra Liamruk.

This year, 67 teams participated in this event, which was a great opportunity for the students to practice their English communication skills by presenting their projects to other people. Moreover, it helped the committees and advisors by testing the students’ problem-solving skills which are crucial skills for IT graduates.
