20 August 2020, Sub Lieutenant Ratiros Phaenthong, a Master Degree’s student of the Cyber Security and Information Assurance program, the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, whose project, “Behavioral Biometric Authentication Using Profile Usage on Smartphone”, under supervision of Assoc. Prof. Sudsanguan Ngarmsuriyaroj, won the 3rd prize, and received 3,000 baht from “the Innovation for Crime Combating Conference and Contest 2020 (I4A-2020)”, at Mahidol Learning Center, Salaya campus.
The conference, which was co-organized by the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) and Mahidol University, aimed to gather special investigative knowledge, as well as, to promote the developments of tools, equipment, and innovation which support special investigations.
At the beginning of the event, there were discussions on “Special Investigation 4.0: Guidelines and Mobility” and “Developing Special Investigation Technology 4.0”, and a lecture on “Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and Its Applications”. Then, the presentations of 13 selected works were conducted.
