This is another contest initiated by Microsoft. The contest aims to encourage more developers to participate and make submissions. Under this contest, developers will stand a chance to win a price in one of four categories: most downloaded free application, most valuable or moneymaking app, the most useful product , and the most playful. This year our students won the first place of Windows Mobile Application Contest 2009.
Microsoft (Thailand) Limited has announced the results of a special Windows Mobile Application Contest as part of the Windows Mobile Experience Tour event, held in Bangkok from June 10 – 14th, 2009. The contest was created to promote innovation amongst Thai students by encouraging them to turn their creative ideas into real mobile software applications, as well as boost the growth of Thailand’s local mobile application and software industry. The Suppy team from Mahidol University won first prize for their ‘Cabinet’ application, which simplifies procedures for creating online surveys. All of the applications from the top four finalists will now be further developed to become fully-fledged applications for Windows Mobile devices.
