Tuesday 11th December 2018 – The Association of Thai ICT Industry (ATCI) along with Japan’s Amiya Corporation and NRI Secure Technologies Ltd. with the help of MUICT, Japan Information Technology Service Industry Association (JISA), Japan Institute for Promotion of Digital Economy and Community (JIPDEC), Magic Software (Thailand) Corp., Ltd. (MST), and Level Five Co.,Ltd. held a seminar to create awareness for GDPR & CBPR under the theme of “Personal Data Protection and Data Risk Management for the Cyber Era” — looking ahead to CBPR system certificate and GDPR compliance management. The seminar was held at the Grand Hyatt Erawan hotel, Bangkok with Dr. Pansak Siriruchatapong, Vice Minister for Digital Economy and Society, as the opening speaker. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarernsri L. Mitrpanont, Senior Advisor of Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University, served as the Keynote Speaker under the topic of “GDPR/CBPR : Are we aware? Are we ready?” and Dr. Karin Sumongkayothin, an MUICT instructor, served as a Panelist.
