Friday 22nd 2019 – MUICT led by Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarernsri L. Mitrpanont, Senior Advisor of Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, along with the executives participated in the evaluation and closing session of “The 136th AUN-QA Programme Assessment at Mahidol University”. Assoc. Prof. Thanya Subhadrabandhu, M.D., Acting Vice President of Mahidol University, and other MU executives were also present in the session which was held at the Grand Auditorium, the MUICT building, Salaya campus.

The courses that received the assessment were as follow:

  1. Bachelor of Nursing Program, Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University: Associate Professor Dr.Yajai Sitthimongkol, the dean, and Associate Professor Dr.Sasima Kusuma Na Ayuthya, Associate Dean for Education.
  2. Bachelor of Science Program in Information and Communication Technology, MUICT: Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the dean, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarernsri L. Mitrpanont, Senior Advisor of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology.
  3. Master of Clinical Tropical Medcine, Faculty of Tropical Medicine Mahidol University: Prof. Pratap Singhasivanon, the dean, and Dr. Wirongrong Chierakul, Deputy Dean for Quality Development.
  4. Master of Arts Program in Rehabilitation Science for Persons with Disabilities, Ratchasuda College Mahidol University: Wachara Riewpaiboon, M.D., MSc., the dean, and Dr. Suchittra Kheowsri, Ph.D.

There were 8 assessors which were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Kay Chuan, Mr. Casey Barnett, Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin, Dr. Eddy Chong Siong Choy, Prof. Dr. Hanna H. Bachtiar-Iskandar, Prof. Rowena L. Escolar Chua, Dr. Wyona C. Patalinghug, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amalina M. Afifi. 8 of them are from 5 countries which are Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore. In addition, there were also 31 AUN-QA Tier 2 trainees from 5 countries, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Phillipines, Thailand, and Vietnam who participated in the session.
