Saturday 9th March 2019 – The MUICT Alumni Association led by Mr. Surasit Kiwprasopsak, the association advisor, together with MUICT led by, Dr. Pawitra Chiravirakul, Deputy Dean for Organizational Communication and Engagement, went to Banphaeo General Hospital in Samut Sakhon to donate funds for building the Banphaeo Eye Hospital and donate elastic band for use in the patient’s physical therapy. Moreover, the team was welcomed by Dr. Suraphon Ariyapitiphan, M.D., a member of the Banphaeo General Hospital board of directors.

Some of the funds that were donated came from the sale of “Dark side of Condominium investment” book by Mr. Surasit Kiwprasopsak who stated that 1/3 of the book sales will be donated to the hospital. Emeritus Professor Dr. Supachai Tangwongsan, Senior Advisor of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarernsri L. Mitrpanont, Senior Advisor of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, MUICT instructors, staffs, students, and alumni also participated in the donation which helped the faculty raise a total of 83,999 THB.

The elastic band that donated to the hospital were also hand-made by the faculty instructors, staff, and students under the supervision of Banphaeo General Hospital staff.
