Wednesday 1st May 2019 – MUICT held a press conference for “Retraining and Coaching ICT Professionals” at the Hubba conference room, Silom Complex building. The objective of the press conference was to inform about a new MUICT training project that aims to improve ICT professionals in the Thailand 4.0 era.
Emeritus Professor Dr. Supachai Tangwongsan, Senior Advisor of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, and founder of the project, talked about the importance of the flexibility in Digital Disruption time which can provide both advantages and disadvantages to the business industry. This causes many ICT profession to struggle to learn new techniques in order to be able to compete in the market. MUICT saw this as an opportunity for the new ICT professionals to learn from the ones who are successful in this area. As a result, the “Retraining and Coaching ICT Professionals” training was founded.

The target audience of this training is IT professionals who have work experience of more than 5 years or have basic knowledge about the selected course. Moreover, the Harvard Business School model will be applied with the training which includes lecturing, case studies, group/case discussion, and coaching. The class will begin on 25 June 2019 and will be held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 18.00-21.00 for a total of 30 hours per course.
