Monday 10th June 2019 – MUICT 4th year students attended the “Innovation for Crime Combating Contest 2019: I4C-2019” hosted by the Department of Special Investigation at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. The following two projects by MUICT students under the advisory of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, Assistant Dean of Research Development participated in this contest:

  • PITI: Protecting Internet of Things via Intrusion Detection System on Raspberry Pi – the members of this project are comprised of Mr. Gannasut Chutaporn, Mr. Jirapas Paisarnduangjan and Mr. Sorakrit Kungvanruttana
  • A Mobile Application for Security Assessment towards IoT Devices (MASai) – the members of this project are comprised of Chatchawan Kotarasu, Mr. Thitiwut Chamornmarn and Mr. Niramit Cheunprapanusorn.

The Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University appreciates their abilities and would like to congratulate the students of the project “A Mobile Application for Security Assessment towards IoT Devices (MASai)” which received a second runner-up award from the Innovation for Crime Combating Contest 2019: I4C-2019.
