ผู้เข้าแข่งขันต้องเตรียมอุปกรณ์ในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหา อาทิ เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ขนาดพกพา และโปรแกรมต่างๆที่ผู้เข้าแข่งขันจำเป็นต้องใช้ ทางผู้จัดได้เตรียม Internet Access ให้กับผู้เข้าแข่งขันที่จำเป็นต้องใช้
เนื่องด้วยการแข่งขัน Hack Your Tech จะเป็นการแข่งขันที่ผู้เข้าแข่งจะต้องอยู่แก้ปัญหาของโจทย์ที่ได้รับข้ามคืน (3 วัน 2 คืน) ทางผู้จัดได้เตรียมที่พักผ่อน และห้องอาบน้ำไว้ภายในที่จัดการแข่งขัน จึงจะขอให้ผู้เข้าแข่งขันเตรียมตัวดังต่อไปนี้
Hack Your Tech 2018
Please read the information below carefully. By registering to participate in the Hack Your Tech 2018, you have read and accepted the following participation terms and conditions.
The Entry Period and Hackathon dates
Registration to participate in the Hack Your Tech 2018 started today and ends on either: (i) August 22, 2018 or (ii) when there is no available seat left for participation. A confirmation email will be sent after submitting registration information. Participants must respond to the email to confirm their attendance in order to secure a seat for the Hack Your Tech.
The Hack Your Tech event will be held at the Bits & Bytes Hall on the 4th floor of Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, on Friday until Sunday, August 24-26, 2018. The registration desk will be open at 9:00 AM on Friday, August 24, 2018. Participants can set up their equipment and mingle with staff and the other team members before the official start of the competition.
The Hack Your Tech will officially begin on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM with opening ceremony, announcement of the theme and assignment, and end on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 17:30 or at the conclusion of the judging period, whichever is later.
Programming languages to be used
Teams are required to have the prerequisite basic knowledge and skills listed below (but not limited to):
Programming: JavaScript, Java, Node.js, Go
Web application: React, Angular, CSS, HTML5, JSON, REST or other APIs
Database: MySQL, MongoDB
Infra: Docker, Kubernetes, and any related cloud
Good to have skills and knowledge: Pitching, Research, Payment, Marketing, Business
Super cool when you come with: Blockchain like Crypto, Stellar, Hyperledger Fabric, Tendermint, Ethereum, and etc.
Equally important, at least one of the team members should possess solid programming knowledge and skills in order to develop at least some part of the idea that the team will come up with. Finding a good and feasible idea and deciding how best to develop it into a tangible product is what matters the most.
Intellectual Property Rights
The intellectual property (IP) rights of the software programs produced in this Hackathon competition will belong to the teams that developed them, and not to the organizers, sponsors, or partners.
Protection of Intellectual Property
By participating in this Hackathon event, the participants represent and warrant the followings: the participants will not submit any content that is copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise to third party intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless they are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to submit the content; and the content submitted by the participants do not contain any malicious codes such as viruses, Trojan horses, worms or other disabling devices or harmful code.
Copyright
Participant represents and warrants that the submission is an original work of the participant, or if the submission is a work based on an existing application, that the participant has acquired sufficient rights to use; and that the submission does not infringe upon any copyright or upon any other third-party rights of which the participant is aware of, and that the submission is free of malware.
Winner Selection/Judging Criteria
Winners will be judged based on the following criteria, all being equally important:
- Innovative nature and the utility of the idea
- Compelling and quality use of programming skills, technologies and tools
- Completion of the project
- Quality of project presentation and demo
