ICT Mahidol held an online session, “Basic Chinese: Learning about China and Taiwan” for its undergraduate students

On 21 April 2021 – Mr. Cheng-Chang Chien (Peter Chien), Chinese Activities Leader of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) led the faculty’s Chinese students in an online session, “Basic Chinese: Learning about China and Taiwan” via Webex Meetings. Participants included students who are attending the “Online Internship Program at MUICT-Taiwan 2021, National Central University (NCU)”, Taiwan and other interested undergraduate students.

The objectives of this session were to lay the foundation of Chinese language to students and to provide opportunities for them to learn more about Chinese and Taiwanese cultures, as well as to encourage engagement among Thai and Chinese students.

The “Online Internship Program at MUICT-Taiwan 2021” is a collaborative internship program between ICT Mahidol and National Central University (NCU), Taiwan. This program annually provides opportunities to the eligible students to do an internship program which is related in IT at NCU, Taiwan. However, this year, the program will be held online due to the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19).
