ICT Mahidol joined hands with MUIC, RS, and MUSIC in signing an MoU for the “Creative Technology Program”

On 14 November 2020 – Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Deputy Dean for Academic Administration and Acting Deputy Dean for Organizational Communication and Engagement, joined an MoU signing ceremony between Mahidol University International College (MUIC), Ratchasuda College (RS), and College of Music (MUSIC), and the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT Mahidol) for the launching of new “Bachelor of Arts and Science in Creative Technology” program. Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University, presided over the ceremony at Studio A520, Aditayathorn Building, MUIC.

At the beginning of the ceremony, “The Art of Science”, a show which combined violin playing, sign languages, and animation graphic background, was premiered. Then, Dr. Chompunuch Pongjit, Associate Dean for Educational Affairs of MUIC, relayed and introduced the “Bachelor of Arts and Science in Creative Technology” to all participants.

Furthermore, the Deans of 4 institutes: Assoc. Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, MUIC Dean, Dr. Wachara Riewpaiboon, RS Dean, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, ICT Mahidol Dean, and Dr. Narong Prangcharoen, MUSIC Dean, altogether signed the MoU.

At the end of the event, special talks: “The Future of Education” by Dr. Choak Bulakul, Group Managing Director & CEO of Farm Chokchai Group, and “Future Careers of 2030” by Mr. Oliver Kittipong Veerataecha, Chief Brand and Communication Officer, True Corp. Public Co. Ltd., were conducted.
