ICT Mahidol instructors and students presented their research projects in “Invention and Innovation Contest, fiscal year 2023”

During 19 – 20 September 2022 – instructors and students of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), presented their research projects in the “Invention and Innovation Contest, fiscal year 2023” organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) at National Research Council of Thailand, Bangkok.

The list of the research projects is as follows:

2 research projects from Machine Vision and Information Transfer Lab (MVIT):

  1. “Mobile Application of Movement Function Analysis” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, ICT Mahidol Instructor and Head of Machine Vision and Information Transfer Research Lab (MVIT Lab), together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weerawat Limroongreungrat, Deputy Dean for Research Academic Service and International Relations, College of Sports Science, as well as Mr. Poramat Jaratdamrong, a Master Degree student in Game Technology and Gamification, ICT Mahidol.
  1. “3D Digital Evaluation and Custom-Made Nasal Splint for Cleft Lip/Palate Patients” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, ICT Mahidol Instructor and Head of Machine Vision and Information Transfer Research Lab (MVIT Lab), together with Asst. Prof. Nutcha Yodrabum, Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital, and Dr. Irin Chaikangwan, Siriraj Hospital, as well as Mr. Rachata Tachavijijaru, a Master Degree student in Game Technology and Gamification, ICT Mahidol.
  1. “Microusity: Security Testing Tool for Backend for Frontend (BFF) Microservices” by Dr. Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul (Main Supervisor), together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth (Co-supervisor), ICT Mahidol Instructors, as well as Miss Chansida Makaranond, Mr. Pattarakrit Rattanukul, and Mr. Pumipat Watanakulcharus, alumni of ICT Mahidol (International Program).
  1. “PSIMILAN: A data processing and visualization system for PSychological Impact on Mental health using LArge-scale social Networks” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suppawong Tuarob (Supervisor), ICT Mahidol Instructor, together with Mr. Krittin Chatrinan, a Master Degree student in Computer Science, ICT Mahidol, Mr. Anon Kangpanich, and Mr. Tanawin Wichit, alumni of ICT Mahidol (International Program).
  1. “A.I. Platform for Diagnostic Medical Neuroradiology for Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus” by Dr. Akara Supratak, ICT Mahidol Instructor, together with Assoc. Prof. Dittapong Songsaeng, Asst. Prof. Jitsupa Wongsripuemtet, an instructor of Diagnostic Radiology, Department of Radiology, the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Ms. Siripra Kingchan, a Master Degree student in Computer Science, ICT Mahidol, and Mr. Phuriwat Angkoondittaphong, an undergraduate student of ICT Mahidol (International Program).
  1. “MU Blink Analyzer: A.I. Platform for Non-Invasive Spontaneous Blink Analysis Using High-Speed Camera” by Dr. Akara Supratak, ICT Mahidol Instructor, together with Dr. Pimkwan Jaru-ampornpan, Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital, Dr. Thanapon Noraset, ICT Mahidol Instructor, Dr. Wansaporn Pornwatthanacharoen, Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital, Dr. Manatchaya Phruekkajorn, Siriraj Hospital, Mr. Natchanon Thanawaree, Miss Thanyarat Kunarittipol, and Mr. Worawit Kaewprasert, alumni of ICT Mahidol (International Program).
