ICT Mahidol, together with Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School (Pratamnak Suankularb Matthayom), organized “KPN-MUICT Camp: IoT for Data Science” for the junior high school students

On 23 July 2022, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School (Pratamnak Suankularb Matthayom), organized “KPN-MUICT Camp: IoT for Data Science” for their junior high school students. On this occasion, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, ICT Mahidol Dean,as well as Mrs. Supranee Yooruek, Director of Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School (Pratamnak Suankularb Matthayom), gave welcome and opening speeches to all participants. After that, students from Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School handed-over decorated pedestal trays to Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean, Lect. Pagaporn Pengsart, Deputy Dean for Engineering and Systems, Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Deputy Dean for Academic Administration and Acting Deputy Dean for Organizational Communication and Engagement, at Innovative Space, ICT Building, Salaya Campus.

The “KPN-MUICT Camp: IoT for Data Science”, was an activity under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which both parties have signed. The goal of this activity was to improve students’ IT abilities so that they could apply their knowledge and skills to develop their thinking process. Furthermore, teaching and learning format during the activity were conducted on Project-Based Learning and Problem-Based Learning. It was attended by 50 junior high school students from Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School and was held on July 23 – 24, 2022, at LAB106, ICT Building, Salaya Campus.
