ICT Mahidol Students Invited as Speakers at the “TB-CERT Cybersecurity Annual Conference”

On August 20, 2025, three fourth-year students from the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), namely Mr. Pakkaphan Permvanitkul, Mr. Panodpong Yanyongweroj, and Mr. Punnatorn Supinyo, were invited as speakers to present their research project entitled “Introduction to Developing a Dark Web Monitoring System from Scratch” at the “TB-CERT Cybersecurity Annual Conference”, held at the Grand Ballroom, InterContinental Bangkok. This research project was developed in collaboration with the Thailand Banking Sector Computer Emergency Response Team (TB-CERT), The Thai Bankers’ Association, under the supervision of Dr. Ittipon Rassameeroj, Assistant Dean for Infrastructure and Technology, as the project advisor. Notably, this year only two student teams from two universities were selected to present as speakers at the conference.

The “TB-CERT Cybersecurity Annual Conference” was an annual event on cybersecurity organized by the Thailand Banking Sector CERT (TB-CERT), The Thai Bankers’ Association, held from August 20–21, 2025. This year’s conference was held under the theme “The Quantum AI Shift: Cybersecurity & Fraud in the Next Era.” The event served as a platform for cybersecurity experts from various organizations, both public and private sectors, to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and strengthen collaborative networks to enhance the nation’s cybersecurity.
