On September, 10 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) organized the activity “Charm of Thai Handicrafts: Where Heritage Meets Creativity” for faculty members, staff, Thai students, and international students. The event was honored by Dr. Kanthanet Tharot, Instructor of the Computer Science Academic Group, who delivered the opening remarks, and Dr. Pattaraporn Sangaroonsilp, Instructor of the Computer Science Academic Group, who served as the event moderator. The session also featured a team of Ten Essential Traditional Craftsmanship (Chang Sip Mu) from the Office of Traditional Arts, Fine Arts Department who shared their expertise and conducted workshops. The activity took place at the Innovative Space, 1st Floor, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The “Charm of Thai Handicrafts: Where Heritage Meets Creativity” activity was organized to promote an international learning environment by encouraging faculty members, staff, and both Thai and international students to learn and exchange cultural experiences through various hands-on activities. These included traditional Hua Khen painting, crafting keychains decorated with pearl inlay, and tote bag painting. In addition, Thai and international food booths were also arranged to further reflect the faculty’s international atmosphere.
