On November 6 and 8, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Kanoksak Wattanachote, Instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group, together with a staff member from the Organizational Communications Department, participated in the China Education Expo (CEE) 2025 in the People’s Republic of China. They joined representatives from other Mahidol University departments, including the Ramathibodi School of Nursing, the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital; the Faculty of Graduate Studies; the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia; and the Global Partnerships Division.
This year, Mahidol University participated in the Expo in two major cities:
- November 6: Chengdu CYNN Hotel, Chengdu
- November 8: Guangzhou Yuexiu International Congress Center, Guangzhou
The Mahidol University booth attracted significant attention from students, parents, and educational agencies. Many visitors inquired about academic programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, teaching and learning formats, program durations, and short-term study opportunities. They also sought information related to studying in Thailand, such as visa procedures and the university’s international learning environment. Furthermore, several foreign universities and educational organizations expressed interest in exploring potential academic collaborations with Mahidol University.
The China Education Expo (CEE), organized annually by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) since 2000, is recognized as one of the most prominent international education exhibitions in Asia. It features national pavilions from more than 20 countries and over 600 universities and institutions from around 40 countries worldwide, attracting more than 60,000 visitors each year.
