From November 9 to 15, 2025, a group of students from the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), participated in the competition as the team “Baan Lae Suan 2025,” consisting of:
- Mr. Thanaphat Boonleang, fourth-year DST student
- Mr. Noppawut Lertpasanawat, third-year DST student
- Mr. Sippakorn Chotiwachira, third-year DST student
- Mr. Varich Maleewan, third-year DST student
- Mr. Pathanin Phisitbut, third-year DST student
The team participated in the 19th Thailand Embedded System Skill Competition (TESA Top Gun Rally 2025: TGR2025), competing for the Royal Trophy graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, under the theme “Innovation for National Defense.” The event was held at the Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, Nakhon Nayok. The team was under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, Dr. Sirawich Vachmanus, and Dr. Kanthanet Tharot, instructors of the Computer Science Academic Group, and Mr. Tamakorn Jiamrachada, who served as project advisors.
In addition, three students from the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), namely Miss Thitiworada Moleechart (second-year student), Miss Thananchanok Chuensang (second-year student), Mr. Weeraphat Apiphuwong (third-year student), as well as two students from the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), namely Mr. Ongsa Raksalam (third-year student), and Mr. Thanadol Yindeesuk (third-year student), participated as observers in the competition. Their participation aimed to enhance their knowledge and prepare them for competing in the following year’s event.
The 19th TESA Top Gun Rally 2025 (TGR2025) was organized by the Thai Embedded Systems Association (TESA), in collaboration with the Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy and the National Innovation Agency (NIA), together with a network of industry partners. The competition aimed to develop students’ knowledge and skills, meet the needs of Thailand’s industrial sector, and encourage Thai youth to compete on the global stage. The event focused on integrating embedded systems with artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to create innovations in national defense.
