On November 17, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the “Murata Career Day 2025.” The event was honored by the speakers from Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., including Mr. Takashi Shimomukai, General Manager of the Business Engineering Division, and Ms. Shelly Chiharu Shimizu, Assistant Manager of the Digital Transformation Innovator Department, both from Singapore branch, as well as Ms. Amy Amal Topa, Data Scientist from Thailand branch.
The speakers provided an overview of the company, including its organizational information and work culture, and created opportunities for students to enhance their career potential in the technology field. The event was held for third-year students in the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) at Room IT204, 2nd Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
On this occasion, Ms. Amy Amal Topa, who currently serves as a Data Scientist and is also an alumna who previously completed an internship with Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Thailand branch, shared her internship experience and provided preparation tips for students interested in interning with the company. In addition, after the company introduction session, the team from the Singapore branch opened applications and conducted interviews for the Data Analyst internship position, creating ICT Mahidol students with the opportunity to pursue internships at a world-class organization like Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
