On November 25, 2025, staff members of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), delivered a presentation at the Mahidol Quality Fair 2025, themed “Mahidol Wisdom: Quality People, Quality Work,” under the topic “AI in Operations: Elevating Support Operations with Artificial Intelligence.” The opening ceremony was presided over by Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, while Prof. Sompop Prathanturarug, Ph.D., Vice President for Strategic Planning, Quality Development and Social Engagement, serving as Chair of the Organizing Committee of the Mahidol Quality Fair 2025, delivered the report on the objectives of the event. The fair was held at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, as well as online via the Mahidol University Digital KM Masterclass website.
As part of the program, a keynote session titled “Enhancing Work Efficiency with AI / Digital Mindset” was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Cherdchai Nopmaneejumruslers, M.D., Vice President for Information Technology and Digital Transformation, Mahidol University. The session was followed by a panel discussion on “AI in Operations,” moderated by Dr. Rapee Boonplueang, Deputy Dean for Corporate Communication and International Relations, Faculty of Science, together with distinguished speakers from faculties and institutions across Mahidol University, including:
- Prof. Dr. Thanongchai Siriapisith, M.D., Ph.D., Deputy Head of the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol)
- Ms. Chonlathit Losiri, Head of Policy and Planning, Division of Planning, Office of the President, Mahidol University
- Ms. Panida Sroisangwan, Audio-Visual Technical Officer, Human Capacity Development Section, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University
At the Mahidol Quality Fair 2025, ICT Mahidol staff presented a total of nine projects in both the oral and poster presentation categories. On this occasion, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of ICT, together with the executive team, extended congratulations and encouragement to the staff members who presented their works. In this event, two projects from ICT Mahidol received awards in the R2R oral presentation category:
- Outstanding Award, with a prize of 5,000 Baht, was presented to the project “Reporting Research Performance through a Dashboard” by Mr. Nuttapol Boonsom, and Miss Suwimol Wehakit, Research Development Division
- Honorable Mention Award, with a prize of 2,500 Baht, was presented to the project “Enhancing Academic Services through Relationship Management and Customer Feedback” by Mr. Den Tupsai, Miss Bang–Orn Kornwirat, and Miss Jarussri Pakkadtang, Academic Services and Technology Transfer Division
Furthermore, the Faculty of ICT would like to commend the projects selected for poster presentation. One project was exhibited in person at Prince Mahidol Hall:
- “AI Localization for Borderless: Developing Cross-Language Clips for Social Media” by Miss Sirirat Wittayakunsatid, Audio Visual and Digital Learning Media Development Division
Additionally, six projects were showcased online via the MU Digital KM Masterclass, as follows:
- “Developing Learning Models in the LAB” by Mr. Phichate Sukklay, Engineering and Facilities Division
- “Food Waste Management at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University” by Mr. Somsak Tanasri, Engineering and Facilities Division
- “Creative Media Strategies for Resilience: Turning Crises into Opportunities with AI to Drive Engagement” by Miss Sirirat Wittayakunsatid, Audio Visual and Digital Learning Media Development Division
- “Flow Chart to Win Hearts: Revolutionizing the Process of Online Course Production Management” by Miss Sirirat Wittayakunsatid, Audio Visual and Digital Learning Media Development Division
- “One IoT Lab Monitoring: An AI-Based System for Electricity Usage Analysis in IoT Laboratories” by Mr. Tamakorn Jiamrachada, Technology Infrastructure Division
- “Smart Student Data: Transforming Student Database Management 5.0” by Miss Methawee Kajulsri, Academic Services Division
The Mahidol Quality Fair 2025, organized annually by the Quality Development Division of Mahidol University, marks its twelfth consecutive year. The event aims to promote excellence in university operations while supporting the professional growth of staff. The event provides a distinguished platform for personnel to showcase their work, encouraging innovation, knowledge exchange, and the sharing of best practices. Furthermore, the Mahidol Quality Fair 2025 serves as a distinguished forum to recognize award recipients and presenters, while inspiring all participants to pursue continuous improvement, achieve high-quality outcomes, and contribute to the sustained advancement of the university.
