On November 26, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), hosted the 2026 ICT Mahidol Short Course under the topic of “Fundamentals of Database System Design.” The session was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Preecha Tangworakitthaworn, an instructor from the Computer Science Academic Group, together with teaching assistants—eight fourth-year students from the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program). The workshop covered core topics such as the importance of data in the digital age, database system design process, hands-on practice in designing and building database systems, and applications of database systems. The activity was attended by approximately 40 high school students, and was held in Computer Laboratory IT103, 1st floor, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The 2026 ICT Mahidol Short Course: “Fundamentals of Database System Design” was organized to provide high school students with opportunities to experience learning environment, explore academic offerings by ICT Mahidol, as well as enhance their technical knowledge and skills.
