From December 15 to 17, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with Sukhondheerawidh School, organized the “ICT Capacity-Building Program for Sukhondheerawidh School” for more than 380 senior high school students. The program was held at the IT103–IT105 Computer Laboratories, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The training provided knowledge and skills across various subjects, as follows:
- On December 15, 2025, the opening ceremony was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, and Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, who delivered welcome remarks and officially opened the training program. The session was conducted by Dr. Pilailuck Panphattarasap, an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group, who served as the instructor for the course “3D Interactive Assets Creation using Spline3D for Basic Digital Storytelling.” The training was provided to Grade 11 students, with a total of 120 participants.
- On December 16, 2025, the opening ceremony was honored by Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Deputy Dean for Administration and Human Resource, who delivered welcome remarks and officially opened the training. He also served as the instructor for the course “Introduction to Algorithm using Scratch,” which was conducted for Grade 10 students, with a total of 119 participants.
- On December 17, 2025, the opening ceremony was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, who delivered welcome remarks and officially opened the training. In addition, Asst. Prof. Dr. Preecha Tangworakitthaworn, an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group, served as the instructor for the course “Database Design and Administration for Beginners.” The training was provided to Grade 12 students, with a total of 146 participants.
Following the completion of the program, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led all three groups of students on a study visit to Sireeruckhachati Nature Learning Park, aiming to provide an out-of-classroom learning experience and to promote the exchange of perspectives among the students.
The “ICT Capacity-Building Program for Sukhondheerawidh School” was designed to promote and support the enhancement of students’ information technology competencies beyond conventional classroom instruction. The program enabled participants to apply the knowledge, skills, and experiences gained to develop effective, high-quality technological solutions. Furthermore, it aimed to strengthen systematic thinking while broadening technological perspectives, fostering lifelong learning and future innovation.
