On January 7, 2026, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the “Information Session for 2026 Internships Abroad” in Japan and the Republic of Korea. The session aimed to provide students with information on international student exchange programs and an overview of ICT internship opportunities overseas, including detailed guidance on application requirements and selection criteria.
The session was attended by students from the Bachelor of Science Program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and took place in Room IT331, 3rd Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, as detailed below:
- “Information Session on 2026 Internship Abroad: Japan, Round 2”: This session introduced professional internship exchange opportunities at partner universities in Japan that are open for student applications in Round 2. The program involves four partner institutions. The session was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, Chair of the Master of Science in Cyber Security and Information Assurance, who introduced the internship programs at Tokyo City University (TCU), Osaka Institute of Technology (OIT), and Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT). In addition, Assistant Professor Dr. Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul, an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group and a member of the Software Engineering and Business Analytics Research Clusters (SEBA) presented the internship program at Kyushu University. The session also featured Miss Supatchaya Aichum, a fourth-year student in the Bachelor of Science Program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), who participated in the ICT Abroad Internship Program for the 2024 academic year at Osaka Institute of Technology (OIT). She shared her experiences in research project work as well as her academic and living experiences during her internship in Japan.
- “Information Session on 2026 Internship Abroad: Republic of Korea”: The session introduced the professional internship exchange program at Korea University and provided information on the application process and key program details. The session was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul.
