ICT Mahidol AI Club Hosted the “Workshop #1: Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Introduction to Large Language Models (LLMs)”

On January 27, 2026, the AI Club of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized Workshop #1: Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Introduction to Large Language Models (LLMs).” The workshop was conducted by Mr. Eakbodin Kanjanamuengtong, a fourth-year student in the Bachelor of Science Program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and President of the AI Club, together with Mr. Phusit Mongkhonwatcharaphun, a fourth-year student in the same program and Vice President of the AI Club. The speakers provided an overview of the roles, fundamental concepts, and significance of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) through a hands-on workshop. The activity was attended by first- to fourth-year students from the Bachelor of Science Program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the Bachelor of Science Program in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) in Room IT204, 2nd floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

The workshop was organized to provide essential foundational knowledge in Natural Language Processing (NLP), and to introduce the study and development of Large Language Models (LLMs), in preparation for the upcoming hands-on workshops of the AI Club.
