On July 7, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), was invited as a guest speaker to deliver a special lecture on “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Application in Workplace Operations,” to 39 personnel from the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
The session was honored by the presence of Mr. Sayam Changniam, Director of the Institute for Sustainable Development on Natural Resources and Environment, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, who delivered the welcome address and officially opened the training session at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
The lecture on “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Application in Workplace Operations” was organized with the aim of enhancing the capacity of government personnel at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their professional duties. The session provided a range of insightful topics, including the “Introduction to AI in Public Administration,” “Prompt Engineering Techniques for Government Tasks,” “Content Creation with AI (such as reports, images, and audio),” as well as “Ethics and Copyright in AI-generated Media.”
The lecture was intended to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to effectively integrate AI into their daily work practices. Moreover, it aimed to strengthen the organization’s capacity to advance sustainable natural resources and environmental management, while driving the operations of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment forward in alignment with the digital era.
