ICT Mahidol organized an online academic seminar on “Smart AI, Smart Health, Smarter You” featuring sessions on “Brain-Computer Interfaces: From Neural Signals to Control Systems” and “Keeping Up with the AI World: Survival Strategies for Thai Startups in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”

On September 8, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with the AI Engineering Institute (AIEI), organized an online academic seminar on “Smart AI, Smart Health, Smarter You.” The event featured distinguished expert speakers who shared their knowledge and real-world experiences with students, faculty members, and staff. The seminar was held online via Webex Meetings and covered the following topics:

  • “Brain-Computer Interfaces: From Neural Signals to Control Systems” by Dr. Fawad Asadi, Faculty Member, CMKL University
  • “Keeping Up with the AI World: Survival Strategies for Thai Startups in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” by Mr. Chanakarn Chinchatchawal, CEO, Robolingo Co., Ltd. (Zwiz.AI), and ICT Mahidol Alumnus (Batch 7)

The seminar was part of a series of collaborative activities organized by the AI Engineering Institute (AIEI) network, comprising nine institutions: Mahidol University, Khon Kaen University, Chiang Mai University, Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), Mahanakorn University of Technology, Chulalongkorn University, Prince of Songkla University, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. The objective of the seminar was to highlight the advancement of healthcare innovation through the power of empathy, integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Human Intelligence to transform the future of medicine. In addition, the event aimed to broaden perspectives and enrich participants’ knowledge of emerging technologies that are currently driving, and will continue to shape, global industries.
