ICT Mahidol Discussed Academic Collaboration with Circuit Industries Co., Ltd.

On July 8, 2025, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Siripen Pongpaichet, Assistant Dean for Information and Systems, and Chair of the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sudsanguan Ngamsuriyaroj, Advisor to the Dean of ICT Mahidol, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, Instructor in the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), Lect. Dr. Kanoksak Wattanachote, Lect. Dr. Kanthanet Tharot, Instructors in the Computer Science Academic Group, and Mr. Phichate Sukklay, Head of the Classroom and Laboratory Support Unit, Engineering and Facilities Division, met with representatives from Circuit Industries Co., Ltd. to explore opportunities for academic collaboration.

In this regard, the delegation of ICT Mahidol was warmly welcomed by Mr. Pornpisit Nitisupornrat, and Ms. Vimolnart Sutthivaiyakit, Assistant General Managers, along with the team from the Circuit Industries Co., Ltd. The discussion focused on exploring potential opportunities for collaboration across several key areas between both institutions.

The primary objective of this meeting was to establish academic-industry cooperation between ICT Mahidol and Circuit Industries Co., Ltd., including internship opportunities for students in the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), curriculum development aligned with future industry demands, and opportunities for joint applied research collaboration.

Circuit Industries Co., Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of international-standard and environmentally friendly printed circuit boards (PCBs), including single-sided, plated through-hole (PTH), and multilayer PCBs. The company utilizes semi-automated machinery to support the development of the country’s electronics industry.
