On December 16, 2025, Dr. Assadarat Khurat, Assistant Dean for Risk Management and Cybersecurity, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Dolvara Guna-Tilaka and Dr. Kanthanet Tharot, instructors of the Computer Science Academic Group, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), participated in the opening ceremony of the CyberXpert Center. The event was organized by National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT Cyfence) and held at Phimarn 2 Room, Grande Centre Point Lumphini Hotel.
On this occasion, Dr. Assadarat Khurat was also invited as a speaker in an academic panel session titled “Building the Next-Gen Cybersecurity.” The session highlighted higher education perspectives on developing cybersecurity talent, integrating cybersecurity knowledge into academic curricula, and strengthening collaboration between government agencies and educational institutions to address cybersecurity workforce shortages. The panel discussion was conducted together with the Director of the CyberXpert Center, representatives from the Cyber Innovation Promotion Association of Technology (CIPAT), and delegates from various higher education institutions, including King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Mahanakorn University of Technology, and Panyapiwat Institute of Management.
