ICT Mahidol Organized “ICT Skills Development Course for Students under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn”

On April 30, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the training program on “ICT Skills Development Course for students under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.” On behalf of the Dean of ICT Mahidol, the event was graced by Lect. Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Deputy Dean for Organizational Development and Special Affairs, who delivered the opening and welcoming remarks to all participants, including 130 students under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The event was successfully hosted at the Computer Lab IT 103 – 104, 1st Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

Following the opening ceremony, the session continued with a lecture on “Prompt Engineering for Everyone,” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer. The lecture provided practical insights on the basic use of ChatGPT, including how to write effective prompts, summarize content from YouTube, summarize articles, create new content for specific target audiences, and translate languages. Additionally, the session also provided demonstrations on how to create test systems and develop a simple Tic-Tac-Toe game with ChatGPT.

The “ICT Skills Development Course for Students under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn” was organized to promote and support students in advancing their knowledge and skills development in information technology beyond the traditional classroom learning. The program enabled students to apply the skills, knowledge, and experiences gained through the training to further their academic growth and develop more systematic thinking processes.

Upon completion of the training, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, awarded certificates to all students who participated in the program.
