ICT Mahidol Organized “Fun Fundamentals of Python Programming” Workshop

     On June 21 & 28 and July 5 & 19, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized a training program entitled “Fun Fundamentals of Python Programming” under the theme “Code Smart, Future Ready – A Basic Python Course for Beginners”. The workshop was held for Grade 10–11 high school students at the Computer Laboratory, ICT Mahidol, Salaya Campus.

     The event was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, who served as instructors. They delivered engaging sessions covering Python fundamentals, program control using conditions and loops, data handling with lists and dictionaries, function creation and reusable programming, modular programming, use of modules and libraries to enhance coding efficiency, and file and text processing.

     The “Fun Fundamentals of Python Programming” workshop is a special initiative by ICT Mahidol designed for high school students interested in programming. Participants in this program are eligible to earn advance credits, which can be applied toward admission into the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) at ICT Mahidol in the future.
