On August 16, 2025, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), was invited as a panelist in the discussion on “Quality Curriculum for Future-Ready Thai Graduates on the Global Stage” at the MHESI Fair 2025.
The panel discussion gathered distinguished panelists, including Professor Emeritus Pansiri Phansuwan, Chair of the Higher Education Standards Committee (HESC), Associate Professor Tartat Mokkhamakkul, Ph.D., Dean of Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University, Ms. Oranuch Lerdsuwankij, CEO and Co-founder of Techsauce, and Associate Professor Phavanee Narataruksa, Lecturer, Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). The session was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Sompop Prathanturarug, Vice President for Strategic Planning, Quality Development and Social Engagement, Mahidol University, and took place at Meeting Room MR 211, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok.
The seminar aimed to encourage higher education institutions to recognize their crucial role in developing national human resources. The discussion highlighted the need to align graduate competencies with the requirements of the modern labor market, which increasingly demands “future-ready skills” in response to rapid technological, social, and economic transformations. The ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of Thai education and prepare graduates to compete sustainably on the global stage.
