On May 30, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukanya Phongsuphap, Deputy Dean for Strategy and Quality Assurance, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), along with faculty members, and staff, participated in the “Royal Celebration on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana’s 47th Birthday Anniversary,” which falls on June 3rd, 2024. The event was organized by Mahidol University, and took place in front of the Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
Following that, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukanya Phongsuphap attended the “Homage-Paying Ceremony” and the “Ceremony to Honor Her Majesty the Queen.” The ceremony was graciously presided over by Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University. During the event, the president led the proceedings by lighting incense and candles to pay homage to the Triple Gem, presenting the four essential requisites to the monks, opening a royal flower cone, and lighting auspicious candles. The ceremony concluded with all participants paying respect to the Queen’s portrait and singing the Thai Royal Anthem together at Professor Dr. Chatchawan Osathanon Lecture Room, Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
