ICT Mahidol Organized the 12th Knowledge Exchange Program for Support Staff: “AI & DATA INNOVATION” (ICT MASTERS 2025)

On August 21, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the 12th Knowledge Exchange Program for support staff under the theme “AI & DATA INNOVATION” (ICT MASTERS 2025). The event took place at Bits & Bytes Hall, 4th Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

The 12th Knowledge Exchange Program for support staff: “AI & DATA INNOVATION” (ICT MASTERS 2025) was honored by the participation of distinguished faculty members of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol).

For the Oral Presentation on “Data Innovation,” the judging panel consisted of:

For the Oral Presentation on “R2R & AI,” the panel of judges included:

Additionally, the program was honored to have 19 faculty members of ICT Mahidol serve as online reviewers for the submitted works.

This year, a total of 19 projects from support staff were submitted for knowledge exchange. These comprised 5 projects in Data Innovation, 3 projects in AI, and 11 projects in Routine to Research (R2R), representing 10 divisions. The award presentation was graciously presided over by Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Deputy Dean for Administration and Human Resource, who represented the Dean in presenting awards to participants in the respective categories, as follows:

Data Innovation Category

  • First Prize with a cash award of 3,500 Baht: “Improvement of Research Performance Reporting Process to Support Research Management” by the Research Development Division
  • Second Prize with a cash award of 2,500 Baht: “Resilient-Based Creative Media Strategy: Transforming Crises into Opportunities with AI and Data towards Sustainable Engagement” by the Audio Visual and Digital Learning Media Development Division
  • Third Prize with a cash award of 1,500 Baht: “Early Warning Indicators for Detecting At-Risk Students” by the Information and Systems Division
  • Consolation Prize with a cash award of 1,000 Baht (2 awards): “Effectiveness of Monitoring the Annual Action Plan in Alignment with the Faculty of ICT’s Strategic Plan” by the Policy and Quality Development Division, as well as “Unlocking Remuneration for Thesis/Dissertation and Independent Study Committee with Time Line for Online Banking Transfer” by the Budgeting and Finance Division

AI Category

  • First Prize with a cash award of 3,500 Baht: “One IoT Lab Monitoring” by the Technology Infrastructure Division
  • Second Prize with a cash award of 2,500 Baht: “AI Localization for Borderless: Developing Cross-Language Clips for Chinese Social Media” by the Audio Visual and Digital Learning Media Development Division
  • Third Prize with a cash award of 1,500 Baht: “Using Generative AI to Improve Effectiveness in Public Relations Operations” by the Organizational Communications Division

Routine to Research (R2R) Category

  • First Prize with a cash award of 3,500 Baht: “Food Waste Management” by Engineering and Facilities Division
  • Second Prize with a cash award of 2,500 Baht: “A Flow Chart Approach to Transforming the Management Process for Online Learning Content Development” by the Audio Visual and Digital Learning Media Development Division
  • Third Prize with a cash award of 1,500 Baht: “MUICT-KM Website Development for Knowledge Management” by the Policy and Quality Development Division

The “ICT MASTERS,” also known as the Knowledge Exchange Program for support staff, has been conducted by the Faculty of ICT for the past 12 years. The program aims to provide support staff with opportunities to transform their routine work into research projects and to share outcomes for mutual learning. In addition, it seeks to promote continuous improvement, refinement, and the development of more effective and innovative practices.
