On April 17, 2025, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with university executives and faculty administrators, participated in the “Mahidol Gen S: Together for Sustainability Kick-off Day.” On this occasion, Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony. The event took place at the Mahidol Learning Center (MLC), 1st Floor, Mahidol Learning Center (MLC), Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The event featured the official introduction of 25 Mahidol University students, who were thoroughly trained and selected to serve as representatives of the new generation committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in community-based missions. These students come from various faculties across Mahidol University, including Mr. Tanupat Sojindamanee, a first-year student from the Bachelor of Science Program in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), from ICT Mahidol.
The “Mahidol Gen S: Together for Sustainability Kick-off Day” was organized by the Corporate Communication Unit of Mahidol University. The principal objective of this activity was to promote and raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among Mahidol University students through experiential learning and real-world engagement, emphasizing the integration of multidisciplinary knowledge within Mahidol University with the power of the new generation to foster community development. Furthermore, the activities of “Mahidol Gen S” will be filmed and broadcast on the We Mahidol program via Mahidol Channel.
