ICT Mahidol Welcomed the Delegation from Lunghwa University of Science and Technology, Republic of China (Taiwan)

On August 26, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council at Mahidol University, along with Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Deputy Dean for Administration and Human Resource, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT Mahidol), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surachoke Thanapitak, an instructor from Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Somkiat Tangkitvanich, President of Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI), warmly welcomed the delegates from Lunghwa University of Science and Technology, Republic of China (Taiwan).

The visit aimed to explore collaborative opportunities in academic development, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, and related technologies. The meeting was held at the Dr. Somsak Leeswadtrakul Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

The delegation from Lunghwa University of Science and Technology included:

  • Dr. Kwannin (Kwan) Kuo, Associate Professor and Director of the Center for International Affairs
  • Dr. Liang-Chun (Ryan) Lu, Associate Professor and Director of the Lunghwa University Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Center
  • Dr. Yi-Heng (Edward) Feng, Assistant Professor and Leader of the ESG Group

This visit and collaborative meeting marked a significant step in strengthening academic cooperation between the two universities and is expected to further advance research and innovation in the future.
