ICT Mahidol organized the “In House Training for the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University”

During March 6 – May 1, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the “In-House Training Program for the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.” On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, the Head of the Machine Vision and Information Transfer Lab (MVIT) and Program Chair of the Ph.D. in Computer Science, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Supratak, as well as Dr. Sirawich Vachmanus, instructors of the Computer Science Academic Group, served as the lecturers transferring knowledge in Machine Learning and Image Processing to faculty members and students of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, Salaya.

The lectures covered various topics as follows:

  • March 6, 2024: Machine Setup and Basic Python by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran as the lecturer and Dr. Sirawich Vachmanus as the assistant lecturer
  • March 13, 2024: Machine Learning / Deep Learning / Basic Pytorch by Dr. Sirawich Vachmanus as the lecturer and Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Supratak as the assistant lecturer
  • March 20, 2024: Image Classification by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran as the lecturer and Dr. Sirawich Vachmanus as the assistant lecturer
  • March 27, 2024: Image Segmentation by Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Supratak as the lecturer and Dr. Sirawich Vachmanus as the assistant lecturer
  • April 3, 2024: Object Detection and Instance Segmentation by Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Supratak as the lecturer and Dr. Sirawich Vachmanus as the assistant lecturer
  • May 1, 2024: Coaching Session by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Supratak and Dr. Sirawich Vachmanus as the lecturers
