On May 21, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Lect. Dr. Assadarat Khurat, Assistant Dean for Risk Management and Cybersecurity, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanwadee Sunetnanta, an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group and a member of the Software Engineering and Business Analytics Research Clusters (SEBA), in collaboration with Seanet Asia Co., Ltd., organized a training program on ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management Standard titled “Interpretation of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Requirements.” The training was designed for executives and personnel responsible for information security management at the Intelligent Operation Center (IOC), a national innovation center under the Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation (EECi), managed by PTT Public Company Limited, at Wangchan Valley Development Project, Wangchan District, Rayong.
The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management Standard: “Interpretation of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Requirements” is one of the projects under the Department of Academic Services and Technology Transfer by the Faculty of ICT. The program aims to provide academic support and consultancy services to external organizations in the field of information technology. The training focuses on effectively transferring knowledge regarding Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022, enhancing organizational capability in managing information security risks efficiently, and participants for future certification under this global standard.
