On September 10, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with KGI Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited, organized an academic seminar on the topic “Investment Analysis – Fundamental and Technical.” The event was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, who delivered the welcome remarks and officially opened the seminar. The event featured Mr. Suchot Tirawanarat, Director of Securities Research, and Mr. Thanathorn Kerdnate, Deputy Manager of Securities Research, KGI Securities (Thailand) PCL , as guest speakers. They shared knowledge on investment concepts and risk management, fundamentals of financial statement and stock valuation analysis, Dow Theory, trend lines, candlestick patterns, as well as various technical indicators used in investment analysis and market timing strategies. The seminar was attended by students, faculty members, and staff of Mahidol University at Room IT204, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
This academic seminar was organized with the objective of providing participants with fundamental knowledge in investment analysis. Mahidol University students who joined the seminar are also eligible to participate in the KGI Algo Trading Bootcamp and Competition 2025, scheduled for November 2025, where they will have the opportunity to compete for scholarships worth over 200,000 Baht.
The next academic seminar will be held on September 17, 2025, under the topic “Algorithmic Trading & Python Workshop,” conducted by Mr. Vithan Minaphinant, Founder of CashGrow Company Limited.
