On February 19, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, instructors of ITDS201 Industry Problems and Experiences 2, organized a special lecture on “IIoT for Smart Factory.”
The session featured Mr. Chansin Matong, Chief Executive Officer of SMK Automation Company Limited and Vice President of the Thai IoT Association, as the keynote speaker. He shared valuable insights into the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and its applications in modern Smart Factories, including Human Machine Interface (HMI), the application of Smart Factories, the current Smart Farm, as well as how to use the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The lecture was attended by second-year students from the B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) and was held in Room IT204, 2nd floor, ICT Building, Salaya.
