On November 25, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Dolvara Guna-Tilaka, an instructor of the course ITDS331 Embedded and Cyber-Physical Systems, together with Dr. Kanthanet Tharot, an instructor of the Computer Science Academic Group, took the 3rd students from the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) on a study visit to Mektec Manufacturing Corporation (Thailand) Co., Ltd. On this occasion, the ICT Mahidol delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Apirat Polyeam, Deputy General Manager of Mektech Manufacturing Corporation (Thailand) Co., Ltd., who graciously led a company tour and provided an informative overview of the IT operations across various departments. The event was concluded by Mr. Peeraphon Neamnoppanate, Division Manager, at Mektec Manufacturing Corporation (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
The study visit aimed to provide students with the opportunity to learn about the practical application of information technology, the use of cyber-physical and embedded systems, and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies. The visit also helped enhance their hands-on experience and bridge the knowledge gained in the classroom with real-world practices in the workplace.
