On April 2, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media, who is an instructor of the ITGE145 E-Sport and Content Streaming course, in collaboration with Mr. Jaspal Jaz, a YouTube streamer from JJAZ channel, organized a Workshop on “E-sports Broadcasting Practice Session” for first-year students of the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), at the IT105 – IT106 Computer Labs, 1st floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The workshop was organized as a part of the ITGE145 E-Sport and Content Streaming course. The purpose of this competition was to provide students with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge by developing and managing live streaming events of E-sport competitions on YouTube and Twitch platforms. Furthermore, this initiative aimed to develop essential skills among students, including event hosting, teamwork, problem-solving in event management, event planning, and graphic design for various digital platforms.
Additionally, the event integrated business insights relevant to the current industry landscape, allowing students to gain practical knowledge throughout the organization of the competition. These objectives were fundamental to the purpose of organizing this event.
