ICT Mahidol Students Advance to the Top 8 Finalist Teams in LINE HACK 2025

The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), would like to extend warmest congratulations to third-year undergraduate students from the Bachelor of Science Program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), consisting of Mr. Ayumu Sakurai, and Miss Nunnapat Vitinuntakit, members of Team “PAI DAI MAI”, for advancing to the Top 8 finalist teams (Student Category) in LINE HACK 2025. The team was selected to present a solution aimed at addressing social challenges related to obstructed sidewalks, particularly those affecting elderly pedestrians and wheelchair users. The competition took place on November 29 – 30, 2025.

The project by Team “PAI DAI MAI” exemplifies the practical application of computer vision technology through the development of a self-trained AI model, combined with the use of publicly available data from Google Street View. Designed with a strong focus on social impact, the solution aims to enhance quality of life and is delivered through a LINE MINI App to improve accessibility for a wide range of users and support effective real-world deployment.

LINE HACK 2025 is an annual competition organized by LINE Thailand for the sixth consecutive year under the theme “Hacking Tomorrow with LINE Technology.” The competition serves as a platform for developers and students nationwide to transform their ideas into innovative prototypes that enhance the quality of life of Thai people and generate tangible positive social impact. This year, a total of 137 teams participated, comprising 72 general developer teams and 65 student teams.

The Faculty of ICT proudly congratulates and commends the two students on this achievement. Their success is a significant source of pride for the Faculty.
