ICT Mahidol Participated in the Alms-giving Ceremony under the 2025 Cultural Preservation Project: “Mahidol Yontai Vithi Tham”

On April 24, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean of ICT Mahidol, along with the executive team, faculty members, and staff, participated in the alms-giving ceremony which was held as part of the 2025 Cultural Preservation Project: “Mahidol Yontai Vithi Tham.” The ceremony took place at the Phra Buddha Maha Siri Pirayapat Hall, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

After the merit-making ceremony, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean of ICT Mahidol, participated in the Buddhist chanting ceremony, presided over by Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University. On this occasion, the president performed a religious chanting ritual, lit incense sticks and candles to pay homage to the Triple Gem, offered the four essential requisites (Chatupacchaya Thaiyatham) to the monks, and performed the ceremonial water pouring (Kruat Nam) to dedicate merit and receive blessings. To conclude the event, the president extended New Year blessings to all participants in front of the Phra Buddha Maha Siri Pirayapat Hall, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University.
