On July 29, 2025, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with the first-year students in the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), and the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), attended the Mahidol University New Student Orientation for the academic year 2025 under the theme “Be Your Own Firework”. The event was officially held at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, who delivered the inaugural speech to welcome the 136th cohort of Mahidol University students. On this occasion, a team of university executives and administrators from various faculties and institutes also extended a warm welcome to the new students, officially marking their entry into the university and inspiring them as they begin their journey in higher education.
On this special occasion, Mahidol University was honored to welcome alumni and current students to participate in the Mahidol Talk session. Guest speakers included Dr. Prasertsak Padmarid from the Faculty of Dentistry, Ms. Wachiraya Trachu from the Faculty of Science, Mr. Siraphob Limjukkraphob from the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, and Ms. Kamonwan Chomchairat from the Faculty of Science. They shared their inspiring experiences and academic goals, as well as provided valuable guidance on university life to help motivate and prepare the new students of Mahidol University.
