ICT Mahidol Hosted the “Mental Health Awareness Session” for New Students

      On July 4, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized the “Mental Health Awareness Session” for over 300 first-year students from the Bachelor in Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), and the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). The session was honored by the presence of Ms. Chisanucha Lertpattanakultorn, and Ms. Chanisa Vutthichotvarakit, counseling psychologists at ICT Mahidol, who served as guest speakers. They shared valuable knowledge and conducted workshops focused on mental health check-ups through engaging activities, including “This or That Pairing Game”, “Mental Health Check-In (DASS)”, “Psycho DASS: Basic Guidance on how to Cope with Depression, Panic Attacks, and Anxiety”, and “Psycho Self-care / Self-compassion: The Benefits of Rest and Writing Positive Affirmations to Oneself.” The activity was held in Room IT204, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

      The “Mental Health Awareness Session” aimed to encourage new students to recognize the importance of mental health, learn how to take care of their own emotional well-being, and build a better understanding of how to manage stress, anxiety, and self-care appropriately. The activity also aimed to support students in preparing for a happy transition into university life.
