ICT Mahidol Participated in MoU Signing Ceremony for e-Office System Implementation under the Government Data Center and Cloud Service (GDCC), in Collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society

     On June 17, 2025, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), participated in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony for e-Office System Implementation under the Government Data Center and Cloud Service (GDCC), in Collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society.

     The Mou was graciously signed by Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, and Prof. Wisit Wisitsora-at, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society. The signing was witnessed by Assoc. Prof. Sittiwat Lertsiri, Ph.D., Vice President of Mahidol University, along with Assoc. Prof. Cherdchai Nopmaneejumruslers, M.D., Vice President for Information Technology and Digital Transformation, and Ms. Piyada Sudkangwan, Communication Advisor at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DE).

     During the event, executive teams from Mahidol University and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DE) were also present to witness the ceremony. In this regard, Dr. Pawitra Liamrak, Associate Dean for Organizational Development and Special Affairs, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), served as the moderator of the ceremony at the PMH Conference Center, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

     On this occasion, ICT Mahidol showcased a senior project titled “A Distributed Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Solution using Wazuh.” The project was developed by fourth-year students from the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), including Mr. Phurinat Pattanakaew, Mr. Kitiphum Mueangthongkham, and Ms. Prakaikaew Ratchawongsa, under the supervision of Lect. Pagaporn Pengsart, Deputy Dean for Infrastructure and Technology, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol).

     This collaboration aims to enhance operational efficiency within government agencies by encouraging the use of the e-Office system on the Government Data Center and Cloud Service (GDCC) platform. In addition, this initiative also serves as a foundation for further collaboration in the IT project development in healthcare and education at Mahidol University under the national cloud infrastructure.
