On December 26, 2025, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), along with executives, instructors, and staff, participated in the “Merit-Making Ceremony on the Occasion of New Year 2026,” organized by Mahidol University. The ceremony included the offering of alms to 30 Buddhist monks.
Following the alms-giving ceremony, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat joined the chanting ceremony, presided over by Prof. Sompop Prathanturarug, Ph.D., Vice President for Strategic Planning, Quality Development and Social Engagement of Mahidol University, who lit incense and candles to pay homage to the Triple Gem and to the five monks conducting the Buddhist chanting. After the chanting ceremony concluded, the president of the ceremony delivered a New Year’s blessing for 2026 to all attendees in front of the Phra Buddha Maha Siri Pirayapat Hall at the ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
