ICT Mahidol welcomed delegations from Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore, and members from the AUN-TEPL (The ASEAN University Network Technology Enhanced Personalised Learning) on the occasion of their meeting and participation as special guest speakers on the topic “Leveraging AI for Assessment: Crafting Prompts for Assessment Design and Feedback”

On February 14, 2025, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), along with executives from the university—including Dr. Jetsada Arnin, Assistant to the President for Education; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittisak Yokthongwattana, Advisor to the Division of Academic Affairs; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Watcharee Ketpichainarong from the Institute for Innovative Learning—welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lieven Demeester, Chairman of the AUN-TEPL Thematic Network, and the team from the Centre for Teaching Excellence at Singapore Management University, along with members of the AUN-TEPL network. They discussed projects under the AUN-TEPL collaboration network and exchanged information on the development of education through Technology-Enhanced Personalized Learning, which focuses on utilizing technology to support and enhance personalized learning. There were also discussions about future collaborative projects, which were held at Meeting Room 401, Mahidol Learning Center Building, Mahidol University, Salaya.

On the same occasion, Singapore Management University (SMU) and the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, organized the online Faculty Development Webinar Program on the topic “Leveraging AI for Assessment: Crafting Prompts for Assessment Design and Feedback.” The webinar was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, Faculty of ICT, who shared knowledge on applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) for assessment to improve the assessment process. Participants also learned how to design effective AI prompts (Prompt Engineering) that align with various types of assessments. The webinar was held at Meeting Room 401, Mahidol Learning Center Building, Mahidol University, Salaya, and online via Zoom.
