ICT Mahidol organized special lectures for students participating in MUICT & ENVI Mahidol Hackathon 2025: Digital Innovation for Carbon Neutrality Society on “Introduction to Data Science” and “User Experience Design and Figma”

On February 22–23, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) hosted special lectures for 15 student teams from Mahidol University participating in the MUICT & ENVI Mahidol Hackathon 2025: Digital Innovation for Carbon Neutrality Society. On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Siripen Pongpaichet, Assistant Dean for Information and Systems, shared her expertise in Data Science under the topic “Introduction to Data Science.” Additionally, Miss Kanrawi Kitkhachonkunlaphat, Computer Technical Officer from Information and Systems Department, provided insights into User Experience (UX) Design using Figma in the session “User Experience Design and Figma.” These sessions were conducted online via Webex Meetings.

The MUICT & ENVI Mahidol Hackathon 2025: Digital Innovation for Carbon Neutrality Society is a collaborative initiative between the Faculty of ICT, the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, and the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT), Mahidol University. The competition aims to provide undergraduate students at Mahidol University with opportunities to enhance their algorithmic problem-solving and programming skills through a Hackathon-style event. This initiative emphasizes the application of information technology in environmental development, focusing on reducing and offsetting greenhouse gas emissions to transition society toward carbon neutrality.

The Hackathon Day is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, 2025, followed by Pitching Day on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at ICT Mahidol.
